Meet Will 👋🔥 The creative force behind the p Meet Will 👋🔥 The creative force behind the plates at The Bell Inn, Kersey — a 14th-century gastropub where great food is taken seriously (but never too seriously).

Will’s been with us for two years, and if you’ve dined with us, you’ll know his style: season-led, colourful, confident and always evolving. He lets what’s in season decide the colours on the plate, bringing fresh ideas to the menu as soon as great produce becomes available.

He loves working with local ingredients wherever possible, has a real passion for fish, and brings the same care to seasonal poultry and well-loved pub classics alike — yes, you’ll still find a proper fish & chips here 🐟🍟. But Will’s focus is on pushing and elevating what pub food can be.

Keep an eye out for our weekend specials (and the occasional lunchtime surprise 👀), where he really gets to experiment. And when it comes to special events, Will thrives — collaborating with our customers to create bespoke menus that mix what you love with what he loves to cook.
