A Country Maverick’s Haven.

Whether you’re coming in from the fields or dressed for a feast – you’re in the right place.

The Bar

Pull up a stool, treat yourself to a pint after a long stomp through the countryside. No judgement here – just good ale, good chat, and a well earned seat by the fire.

The Restaurant

Our main dining room – rustic, refined, and full of character. Expect seasonal food cooked to perfection, exceptional service, and a menu built for flavour.

The Private Dining Room

Small, stylish, and quietly tucked away – this one’s perfect for private dining, special occasions, or simply hiding out with your favourite people and plotting your next adventure. Seats 10. Candles, good wine, great stories.

The Garden

When the sun shows up, so do we. Our garden is big, bold, and built for lingering – picnic tables scattered beneath wide Suffolk skies, room for kids to roam and dogs to stretch out, and laughter rolling with the breeze.

Come summer, the outdoor bar swings into action – pouring cold pints, crisp wines, and whatever wild spirit takes your fancy. It’s the kind of place where afternoons blur into evenings, and no one’s watching the clock. Grab a drink, claim your spot, and let the day unfold.

Private Hire

We’ve got two brilliant spaces for private hire – perfect if you fancy having the place to yourself for a weekday lunch or dinner. The Restaurant offers a flexible setup, whether you’re after intimate tables of 4 to 8 or one long, glorious banquet for a proper countryside feast. The Private Dining Room seats 10 and brings all the cosy, tucked-away charm you need for long, lazy lunches, birthday toasts, or fireside plotting sessions. We’ll handle the food, the drink, and the warm welcome – you just bring the good people. Who’s in?

Walk In. Warm Up. Stay Awhile.

Start – or end – your walk with us. We’ve got plenty of parking, a sprawling garden, and a wild countryside welcome like no other. And if it’s just a cuppa you’re craving, we serve proper coffee, tea, hot chocolate and more. Boots by the door, hands round a warm mug. You’ve arrived.
